DUCKSIDE is an open-world survival game where players control ducks equipped with hats and weapons, engaging in both PVP and PVE elements while crafting and building bases.
A developer on the Steam forum shared insights about the game’s anti-cheat transition, explaining that while anti-cheat functionality has been present since its Early Access launch, the migration to BattlEye has introduced challenges with Proton support. The developer noted that enabling this support isn’t as straightforward as merely flipping a switch, citing previous testing issues with both Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye that prevented the game from launching.
